My stay at the hotel was absolutely fabulous! The three separate rooms, including a parlour, bedroom, and beautiful bathroom, provided a spacious and beautifully designed accommodation. The Writer's Bar seemed nice, even though it's not exactly my personal taste. The service was top-notch, incredibly hospitable, and friendly without being overbearing. The location, refurbished exquisitely in central Singapore, felt like an oasis of calm right in the heart of the city. The dining experience at the magnificent Tiffin Dining Room was outstanding, offering superb food and service.
The hotel rooms, now reimagined as BBR by Alain Ducasse, are breathtakingly beautiful and inviting, incorporating a Mediterranean sharing and grill concept. The high-tech functionality using an in-room tablet adds to the overall charm. The dining experience may have had some disappointments in terms of value for money, but the gorgeous rooms and excellent service certainly make up for it.
The hotel rooms are very luxurious, featuring modern amenities like a dining table, sofa, TV, and a drinks cabinet with fresh fruit daily. However, they lacked the old character that adds charm. The hotel has a conference room feel with mediocre table decorations. During my stay in the first week of January 2020, there was filming on the hotel grounds for three days.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with spacious and luxurious rooms, butler services, and excellent dining options. The staff were attentive and cheerful, enhancing the overall experience. The location was a peaceful oasis in Singapore, though not as convenient as some areas.
My stay at the hotel was truly exceptional. The rooms in the Balcony wing are large, full of wonderful details, with a luxurious bathtub, and the location at the airport was surprisingly convenient. The service provided went beyond my expectations, with cheerful and warm staff always ready to help. The hotel's superb facilities, including room service, housekeeping, valet parking, and more, truly added to the overall experience.
The hotel was a mix of traditional charm and modern convenience. The rooms were spacious and superbly appointed, showcasing the best room control system. However, the reliance on iPads for everything was a bit overwhelming. The 4 for the price of 3 deal on the five-course set menu in the Tiffin Room was a lovely touch.
